Buyer's Guide
Find the Right Chair for You
Answer a few simple questions and we'll point you to the model that fits your body, space, and recovery goals.
Not all massage chairs are built the same — and the most expensive one isn't always the right one. This guide walks through the four things that actually matter when choosing a chair.
Who is it for?
Home use and clinical use have different demands. A chair for a single person recovering from a sports injury needs different specs than one sitting in a PT clinic seeing 20 patients a day. Our home models (RC-100 through RC-500) are built for daily personal use. The RC-700 Clinical Pro is engineered for high-traffic commercial environments with a 500 lb capacity frame and a 2-year commercial warranty.
If you're buying for a clinic, gym, or facility — go commercial. The frame and warranty alone are worth it.
What are you recovering from?
General tension and stress? Any model will do. Chronic lower back pain? You want an L-track roller system that extends from the neck all the way to the glutes — that's the RC-500 and above. Post-surgical rehab or specific PT protocols? The RC-700's 4D rollers and touchscreen zone controls give your therapist precise targeting. Neck and shoulder focus only? The RC-200 Compact is purpose-built for that.
L-track = neck to glutes. S-track = neck to lower back only. Know which one your body needs.
How much space do you have?
Full-size recliners need 12–18 inches of clearance behind them to recline fully. If you're working with a smaller room or apartment, look for a wall-hugger design — the RC-200 and RC-500 both use wall-hugger mechanisms that need only 2–4 inches of rear clearance. Measure your space before you buy, and account for the fully reclined footprint, not just the upright one.
Measure the reclined length, not just the chair's standing footprint. Most chairs extend 20–30% longer when fully reclined.
What's your budget?
Our chairs range from $1,999 to $9,999. The RC-100 is the right starting point if you want proven zero-gravity relief without the premium price. The RC-500 hits the sweet spot for most home users — L-track, body scan, Bluetooth, and wall-hugger in one package. The RC-900 Luxury is for those who want the absolute best: AI body mapping, heated footrest, and premium leather. Clinical buyers should budget for the RC-700 regardless of price — the commercial warranty pays for itself.
Don't buy more chair than you need. The RC-300 outperforms chairs twice its price for most home recovery use cases.
